The business is led by Tammy Day, an award-winning strategic business leader and leadership consultant. During her career Tammy has led a profitable multi-million pound business as a Managing Director, facilitated boardroom discussions, coached executive leaders and designed and delivered large people focused initiatives. In the last 10 years she has been nominated for and won 10 major industry awards for her client work. As Managing Director she took her first company to the National Business Awards finals as ‘Employer of the Year’. They were also one of the first organisations in the UK to receive the Platinum Investors In People status for leadership and management practices, putting them in the top 1% of organisations in the UK at the time. Now, as Leadership By Design, she works with the individuals within an organisation tasked with developing leaders. LBD provides a flexible, creative resource and partnership approach, as well as original thinking, ideas and access to award-winning programme designers, coaches and facilitators.
